Anyone know anything about Ketosis/lowcarbing?

I've had no carbs for a week including fruit,sauces etc.Got some ketosis urine strips today and it says I'm not in ketosis.What am I doing wrong? T.i.a

It's not hard to maintain because there are so many nice things to eat & you never need to be hungry. No starvation.

I found it impossible to maintain. It's not that I was hungry, I just wanted chocolate! And ice cream. I did it for several months and I was just miserables at the lack of sugar! I used to dream about fruit Grin it works really well for some people though and I think that finding a diet that works for you (as in maintainable) is more important than what that diet is.

Having done it twice and lost loads both times it can be maintained in the short term but for me it's not sustainable long term. For me.
Essentially living in deprivation then eating carbs and feeling as if I was high on drugs!
My 50 year old peri menopausal self does not want to feel like a failure for eating a banana 😊
Good luck to anyone on it though xx
