Long tops that are not belly tops!

Can anyone recommend any good quality T-shirt's that are of a decent length?

Just plain T-shirt's that can be teamed with a pair of trousers and a cardigan for work. I'm sick of buying them and when they arrive they are barely to the top of my trousers Hmm

I'm 5"8 but with big boobs. I just want them to be long enough to cover my mum tum and so come to like crotch length/top of thigh.

Thanks 😊

I'll join on the watch list.
Esprit occasionally have some longer t-shirts.
Next do some basic longline ones, for some reason not listed under their Tall section but in with the standard t-shirts, not sure if they count as good quality. They don't go down to crotch length but they do at least meet my trousers!

Watching with interest! Next do some long length ones, and I've had some from Gap previously that were a decent length. I have the same problem with jumpers. It's the difficulty of having a long torso and big boobs!

I usually get them in Primark. Everywhere else seems to have such short t-shirts.

Next do t shirts in a tall fit so they actually are a decent length. For some reason on the website its easiest to just filter by size '12 tall' or whatever rather than clicking the tall fit button. Otherwise I wear long camis from Primark under everything

BarbaraofSeville · 28/02/2021 10:09

I like the relaxed fit ones from M&S

They also do long sleeve. They're quite thin but hang nicely and wash well. I just wish they did a better range of colours as I don't wear light colours and the black and blue are a bit boring. If they did a few different bright colours, I'd buy loads of them.

Thanks for this, I always forget about Next. This is pretty much what I meant by 'nice bright colours' although sadly this one is from a plus size range but I could probably get away with a 16, but it's out of stock.

I got one from Sainsburys the other day. I am size 14 but I got a 16 so it was a bit more loose/casual and I love it but I can’t remember if they had other colours besides black.

It is a boat neck, as proper round necks just don’t sit right on me. It is 3/4 length sleeves, which I prefer though and has slightly curved hemline that just covers the bum.

It’s just a simple top, but I have a lot of specific requirements for a simple top!

TheDrsDocMartens · 28/02/2021 10:55

I’m 5ft and have this problem so no idea how taller people manage!

Primark are my go to for vest tops but their long sleeve ones are shorter.

Musicalmistress · 28/02/2021 11:08

Try looking for tunic tops? They're generally longer length.

Thanks all - some great suggestions

@CMOTDibbler - this is exactly what I do. I always have a long cami on under every top I wear so it looks longer Confused

@BarbaraofSeville can you link to that top please? I can't seem to find it?
