What's everyone up to today?

Washing machine on, but that's all I'm doing housework wise.

Doing an online exercise class and on the last 80 pages of my book so certainly reading as I want to know the end! DH and I will go on our usual Saturday walk 75-90 mins - tempted to take a sandwich and sit on a bench after seeing lots of rule breakers yesterday, but will keep going for a bit longer.

Today ricotta and sweetcorn lasagne, salad and a glass of wine.

Also need to wash the patio as it's all green and looks horrible. Wish we could go to the cinema or something nice.

I finished my assignment just now, I’m doing a basic course called “understanding children and young people’s mental health”. Was quite behind (annoying as units 1-3 I’d done early... then school and nursery closed again!) but got an extension. Glad it’s done and I’m ready to start the final unit ASAP.

I’ve got my covid vaccine at 1.30! So will have a nice walk down to town, catching Pokémon on the way :o and then get the bus to the surgery. Hopefully finish my book.

Nothing planned for after, as I’ve no idea how well I’ll feel. Probably fine but didn’t want to plan anything just in case!

Thus far I’ve done two loads of washing and put the dishwasher on. I’m inwardly fuming as the house is such a fucking mess and only the bare minimum seems to get done. I picked up all the piles of crap off the kitchen floor and put them on the table and found my husband when he took the nasty old handles off our kitchen cupboards, has just saved them in a pile of junk? Why?! Put them in the recycling bin man, they’re metal and corroded and nasty!

I’m a bit grumpy coz next doors builders woke me at 9.30. But the children have hung the washing out so I’m going to have a(nother) coffee and some baklava.

Usual Saturday night antics - dinner, tv and vino

This morning I done two loads of washing, made a jam sponge pudding for after tea tonight (currently steaming) and I’ve got bolognese sauce in the slow cooker ready for lunch tomorrow. DP has cleaned the bathroom and changed our bed. DS has been online gaming with a couple of mates and DD has been drawing, sticking and gluing etc.

Once the pud has finished steaming we’ll go to the local park.

This evening I’ll finish off my shopping order for delivery tomorrow whilst drinking Baileys hot chocolate.

Bog standard Saturday at the moment.

I had a bit of a lie in this morning til 9am, then put a couple of loads of washing on, cleaned the goldfish out and walked down to the village shop to get some bread. Just having some lunch and a quick look at MN.

After lunch we are going into the garden - DH and I to do some weeding and DC to play. It's lovely out in the sunshine. I also need to clean the bathroom today. We will go for a walk if we can fit it in. I'm making chilli for dinner and then we will watch a film when the DC are in bed. It feels like spring is coming so feeling happy today.

Glad to hear people are having their Covid jabs today too, I'm somewhere near the bottom of the list I'm sure, but love to hear that people are getting them!

Two loads of washing out and the first al fresco lunch of the year. This afternoon planting veg seeds and this evening attempting to manicure my terrible nails while DH cooks dinner. Quite a nice day.

Oh yes it’s Saturday, that means The Voice (now that masked singer is over)

We went for a long walk with the dogs in the woods, it was so beautiful in the morning sun, had brunch when we got home and have been sat in the garden reading the papers since then, I had a snooze which was absolutely bloody lovely! Just opened a bottle of rose and we’re listening to Classic FM still out in the sunshine, I’ve had worse Saturdays

Had a pretty decent day but now I'm booooored

Had a lie in and had poached eggs on toast for brunch.

Put a load of washing on then went to the allotment for 3 hours. Did a lot of sorting and prep. It was lovely in the sunshine!
Came home and did some pottering in the garden.
Had a hot shower, spoke to dm on the phone. Dh did the dcs tea, now he's doing ours. Pinch of Nom ratatouille chicken and sweet potato wedges.

Will play a board game later with dh when dcs are in their rooms.
