Can I take my baby with me when I get my covid jab?

My slot is in 15 minutes and DP has had car trouble so isn't home.

Has anyone been and seen people getting it with their small child? He's two months so will be in the pram

I volunteer at a vaccine site and we have had people come with little ones so should be fine.

Brilliant thank you!

@frantic17 he's still asleep in the sling, do you think I can take him in that or would it get in the way?

Should be fine so long as they can get to top of your arm

I think the pram is better in case you feel unwell after receiving the vaccine. You don't want to risk falling.

frantic17 · 26/02/2021 15:18

As long as they can access the top of your arm I don't think there would be a problem

I'm all done and home and they said that if I had bought the pram it would've been no but as he's so young and was in the sling the manager okayed it. He got a lot of attention from the workers and hardly grizzled so a good result all round!
