Untangling slinkies. My kids manage to tangle them up every time the tangled lump of spring appears without a by or leave and i absentmindedly untangle it until it looks like new.

Whats yours?

Money and anything money related, finding things , and anything food related!

FoofOfTheWalkingDead · 27/02/2021 21:33

Anything pet related
Anything food related
Anything diy related
Anything mental health related
Anything play related
Anything social
Finding things
Mending things
Cleaning things
Decorating things
Basically fucking everything, except making money. DH uses this as his excuse to do none of the above. And I also work part-time.

@CryptoFascist That’s hilarious! Too hard for the poor lamb to look out the window?

TawnyPippit · 27/02/2021 23:35

I have 2 x late teens. I am in charge of the Home Office, am Minister of Education (both universities minister and GCSE/A Level adviser), Chancellor of the Exchequer and Minister of Health (food, (in)advisability of alcohol and drugs Hmm, sleep, exercise nudger, sunscreen). DH is Minister of Transport and Culture/Foreign Office (he books holidays). We share the Directorship of Work and Pensions. I have been the Chief Medical Officer re Covid19 (and know where the pulse oximeter is kept).

All The Fucking Things

margaritasbythesea · 28/02/2021 00:25

Before we decided to get married, DH elected me, 'Executive Director of the Future.' I got a folder with
it on.

Since then, I have been relegated, but by our kids, to 'Dooer of bloody everything.' I have to remind them that they have two parents. DH is really very willing.

lovablequalities · 28/02/2021 00:43

Me: phoning the butcher/fish shop/takeaway; hair; what to do with fennel/lamb chops/tahini etc

Dh: addressing envelopes; reaching down high things; opening jars

Dd1: running over to her grandparents with messages

Dd2: compromises

Ds: kisses and big squeezes

Reckon we have all the bases covered

DustyMaiden · 28/02/2021 00:49

Everything else
DH lifting heavy stuff
DS anything I.T.

FunnyWonder · 28/02/2021 01:03

Opener of bottles and jars.
Official pen finder. Even though I do not lose them.
Finder of things in fridge. It's not a portal into another dimension and yet nobody else can find a sodding thing in there.
Finder of things in the freezer. See above for details.

Oh god pretty much everything. Single mum life. However my 5 year old seems to have a genius for finding things, I'll often send him in search for something his autistic older brother has abandoned somewhere random and he usually is triumphant. Everything else though.....
Thankfully I'm in a support bubble with my parents and as far as my kids are concerned Grandma is the only one who is allowed to do baking. So there's that

CruCru · 28/02/2021 17:54
