What’s the best place you’ve travelled to?

Like most people I have a little bucket list. I enjoy travelling, seeing new places & cultures, & I hope to do more of it later on in life when the kids are bigger. What’s the best place you’ve been to & why?

I’d love to go back to Pompei one day. I’d love to see some of the Scottish Highlands. Just for the scenery alone.

Vietnam, China and Venice have to be my favourites. Least favourite would be Tunisia (never again) and Sicily

Honolulu for me - the whole island just fabulous.
Then loved northern Wales and up Snowdonia. just beautiful scenery.
I have enjoyed all locations that I have visited though. Holidays are what we make of them. I love poking out the local cafe or the local shop rather than where all the tourists go.

I'm from Pembrokeshire, Lucky enough to still live here... Totally biased in saying, this is the best place Ive explored . Looking forward to visiting places abroad though soon

Pembrokeshire is so beautiful. My favorite place is Nerja. I'm sure there are other beautiful places but I keep blowing my budget returning there..

In Britain it has to be the Pembrokeshire coast and the Welsh Marches (especially Shropshire and Herefordshire). Love the landscape and the black and white timber framed houses.

Abroad it has to be Tuscany and Provence. Great landscapes and food.

Pompeii, Naples, Ljublijana, Croatia, and Romania are top of my wish list. I'm really drawn to the architecture of lots of Eastern Europe.

Maui. Everything about it.

Singapore and Iceland

St John in the US Virgin Islands. It was unspoilt then. Lovely rain forests and completely deserted beaches. The picture perfect beaches with golden sands, blue sea and the coconut palms.

Singapore was just amazing o could honestly live there

Bolivia. Some incredible things to see there that you don't see anywhere else.

@OohImBlindedByTheLights that picture of the unchained bikes is such a lovely indictment of Japan and its people! Even if you chain your bike up like its Fort Knox in my (wealthy, commuter-belt) town, it will still probably be nicked or just vandalised and left broken

I feel justified to have Japan at the very top of my travel wishlist!
