Anyone bought one of these positivity diaries for their child?

Keep seeing ads for these popping up, but the one I looked at was very expensive. My dds are 8 and 10, and both have been quite sad recently, like many children in lockdown I suppose. They each have a book to write down things they're worried about, which we discuss, but I like the idea of writing positive thoughts too. Would be interested in what has worked for others? I try to discuss being grateful for what we have etc, but it's hard sometimes.

My 9 year old has anxiety with CAMHS involvement. I’ve bought her a couple of them in the past, they are expensive and she didn’t really find them helpful. She prefers drawing. Every child has a different outlet I guess, if you know your child loves to write then give it a shot.

Thanks, the older ones loves to draw, and does use that to express her feelings. Perhaps I just need to encourage the drawing/writing a bit more!

I bought one for DS when he was struggling with low self esteem and negativity. Really helped him see positives and talk about his emotions.

Was a happy self one.

Thanks @GuyFawkesDay, that's the one I looked at. I don't mind paying if they're good, but the reviews were a bit mixed. Good to know your ds found it helpful.
