Lots of pp saying Roxy Music or Bryan Ferry covers.... which is really interesting as my big brother was a huge BF fan. I used to play his vinyl records when he was out at high school in the early 70s (I am much younger). I loved the album In Your Mind, and didn’t realise most are cover versions (if not all). I revisited the album on Spotify recently and still knew all the words and what song was coming next etc... young minds are definitely sponges, I must have only been about 8 then?? Anyway, I recommend that album and loved Tokyo Joe when I was wee.

Al Green’s version of the Bee Gees’ ‘How do you mend a broken heart?’ is definitely better.
I’ve recently heard a cracking Miles Cyrus version of The Cranberries’ ‘Zombie’ - not better but brings something different to it compared to Dolores’ ethereal original.

The different versions of ‘Stepping Stone’ are worth listening to - The Monkees and the Sex Pistols (but I don’t think The Monkees’ version was the original).

I love George Michael but I do not prefer his cover of I Can't Make You Love Me. Maybe because I knew the song before he covered it and was a big fan of Bonnie Raitt anyway. performance cannot be topped imo.

While the original is great, this is better. And I don't even like Usher but this is fantastic
