DH has these spots in his back. I think they started on a i day and have increased. They are lightly itchy. So you think it is from an insect bite? Thanks

Bites from ants and bed bugs can infect and spread as impetigo.. my son had this from some bites and it just keeps spreading on its own away from the site of infection.

Antibiotics cleared it in days.

Pharmacist is a good call.

Flea bites are flat, not raised (usually, unless an allergic reaction) and usually only on the ankles, unless in your bed, in which case I'd expect you both to be affected. Also they wouldn't spread.

That was how I felt when I had shingles; mildly itchy worse when just scratched.

I only knew I had shingles as it was just before my 6 week check for dd2 and so I mentioned it while I was there and they looked and said "Shingles".
I was never ill or in pain with it. It's not reoccurred, although it was just where my bra strap goes on my back and even now that area is a little sensitive to labels and rough parts.
