I successfully hid my packet of chocolate buttons and they were yummy.

I’ve had to ignore all the admin I’m meant to be doing for DH’s business to watch our new puppy. It’s been a welcome break, even though it means I have to catch up next week while homeschooling.
I’ve also been prepping for a second Christmas we decided to have next week (needed something to look forward to!) so all in all it’s been good and a bit of escapism.

@chocolateisavegetable I’ve just bought and hidden 4 creme eggs. I also have 2 twirls in the filing cabinet. I’m on a diet but I like knowing they’re there.

My new vacuum cleaner arrived today

As it is bagless, I have appalled myself with how much dirt and dust I have hoovered up.

I have also learnt that when you are emptying it, it is best to make sure that it is actually completely over the bin before pressing the release catch

I did lots of work in the garden yesterday (t-shirt weather - I'm not in the UK) and now I can look out and see a clean patio instead of leaves, twigs and saharan sand.

I'm not in the sahara btw, but the rain dumped shed loads of it on us last week.

Just walked the dog, it's very Spring like here, snowdrops, daffodils, lambs, didn't even wear a coat.

Now drinking coffee and contemplating ironing or lesson planning... or reading!

Hmmm, the sugar solution seems to have been over-saturated for growing crystals & the sugar's just sunk to the bottom of the jars

I'm waiting for dd2 to come down for lunch before I tinker & add more water/re heat them or I'll get in trouble for tampering with her project

Started a new job last week after Covid-related redundancy and I don't like it!! Far too quiet, I like being busy and the day whizzing by as a result. I don't work Tuesdays and Wednesdays and had the 'back to work blues' badly last night - that's not good, is it? 😳
