Normally I would have a lot more social things going on so it’s odd to see months and months of nothing in my diary except the odd zoom meeting and a Tesco delivery.

But now I’ve got two - a wedding in August and a gig in February 2022 and I’m looking forward already!

A holiday in spring that has already been bought over from last year and it's to see very close family so praying it can go ahead.

The second is for my DD's 18th birthday I'm supposed to be taking her away to the coast for a few days in June.

The third is to spend some time with my bff(we haven't seen each other for months and we missed out on all going on holiday to celebrate our 40 years as bestfriends)on a weeks holiday her,me,my DH our 5DC and our Grandson.

And numerous missed appointments for the hairdressers and beauty salon's.

Keeping everything crossed for all of us.

AlrightTreacle · 18/02/2021 00:29

A wedding in April (assuming it will be rescheduled, was originally booked for April 2020).

A birthday party in July.

Tickets for various comedy shows/musicals/plays from September onwards, one of which has already been rescheduled from Nov 2021 to Oct 2022.

A provisional girls holiday in October - we've all booked the same week off are hoping to go abroad somewhere, but will be happy with somewhere in the UK too.

Apart from that, an appointment to take the dog to the groomers later this month.

daisydalrymple · 18/02/2021 00:34

walkacrossthesand yes, think we’re on the Saturday night. Extremely doubtful about any of them though 😭😭😭

MintyCedric · 18/02/2021 00:44

3 nights in London mid-July, subject to Covid, finances and sick elderly parents, hopefully to celebrate DD's GCSEs being finished.

A talk on forensic pathology in October rescheduled from last year.

July/August 2022...Harrogate for 4 nights for the Crime Writers festival followed by 11 nights at a gorgeous cottage near Haworth. Couldn't be more excited if I was going on a round the world trip tbh.

My best mate and I also realised the other day that until now we have never both been single at the same time (mid 40s, met on first day at primary school)...so as soon as the pubs are safely open again, there will be shenanigans Grin!

IdblowJonSnow · 18/02/2021 00:52

Children's optician appointment to look fwd to!
Possibly an airbnb in June if we're allowed...

Icanflyhigh · 18/02/2021 01:01

Our wedding in June, so far that's it apart from work zoom meeting, kids teams meetings and my mums chemo schedule.

giggly · 18/02/2021 01:02

Easter, my birthday and Christmas so far Wine

itwillbehormones · 18/02/2021 01:19

August gathering, October 02 and that's it!!

Silkiechickscat · 18/02/2021 01:30

3 orthodontists trips for DD
2 tax return deadlines
2 more weeks of remote learning with ASD DS and DD minimum
August holiday for week in UK, awaiting further updates before booking more.
A friend is supposed to be having their 50th in September but not sure that will be happening.

LunaNorth · 18/02/2021 01:36

Interring my parents’ ashes in June.

Whoop whoop Hmm

UpToMyElbowsInDiapers · 18/02/2021 01:58

My best friend’s wedding in September, but I’d need to fly to get there, and as we’re in our 20s it’s unlikely we’ll be vaccinated by then at current vaccination rates in Canada, so I’m bracing myself for a cancellation. :-(

DB just rebooked his wedding... for Sept 2022.

ilovesooty · 18/02/2021 02:08

3 flights rescheduled from last year originally booked pre covid.
Self catering long weekend in October.
Cousin's milestone birthday party, rescheduled from last year.
Virtual conference the weekend after next.
Gig in November, rescheduled from last year.
Virtual conference in the November.
Blood donation next month.
Dental appointment.

peak2021 · 18/02/2021 07:23

I have some time off work already agreed and ideas where to go (UK and abroad) if Covid 19 restrictions are eased or removed.

A gig in June, another at the end of July, and an event from 2020 which is now taking place next year.

AuntieMarys · 18/02/2021 07:39

A week in this country in July.
Podiatrist, dentist and hygienist.
And the first appointment with my hairdresser/beauty salon whenever we can!

Crunchymum · 18/02/2021 07:48
  • Medical appointments and prescription reminders (DC3 is disabled and I have a condition myself so between us we have lots of regular appointments and scripts)
  • Birthdays (we have big families so there are loads. Plus friends and friends children. No parties though this is just so we remember to send cards!!)
  • an essential repair on the house (all day jobbie that we've been waiting for since Sept 2020)

That is it.

Can't wait to add all the school related stuff again, that will be exciting enough!!

FlamingGoat · 18/02/2021 08:08

We have to take our holidays as normal so have a week booked off for March, June and two in September. Hopefully we can get away for one of those in the camper.

I have my driving test in 4 weeks time which still hasn't been cancelled but as I'm not allowed driving lessons I can't see it happening. Its rebooked from exactly a year from when I was first supposed to sit it.

I gave two gigs in July rebooked from last year but can't see them happening, and a rebooked gig in November which possibly may happen 🤞

Two half marathons cancelled until possibly end of Summer.

idontlikealdi · 18/02/2021 08:24

A wedding in august rescheduled from last august now reduced to just ceremony for 15. Party next year.

One week in france and two in the UK in summer holidays. Fully expect france isn't happening, hope we can still do the UK

jackstini · 18/02/2021 08:27

Theatre tickets now postponed to April 2022

A conference moved to March 2022

As soon as we legally and safely can, I'll be putting a lot more in!

SarahLox77 · 18/02/2021 08:34

Tickets to two live music gigs in autumn 2021 which I will go to if they happen and I vaccinated; I am not holding my breath for either! One is already rescheduled from October 2020.

Pimlicojo · 18/02/2021 08:35

Two holidays, one UK and one in Europe. I don't expect them to happen (although perhaps hopeful for the UK one) but it's nice to see them in there.

HeronLanyon · 18/02/2021 08:35

Other than work stuff I have -
One rescheduled electrician reminder to reschedule as and when.
One rescheduled gas/boiler reminder.
Weekly zoom restaurant outings with reminders to get background images. This week we are going to Greece reliving a holiday. .
One gig in September rescheduled from last September.
Friend’s chemotherapy dates so I remember to check in with him.

Would normally have around 10 booked live things into the autumn, 10 or so restaurant/social things planned etc. Plus holiday plans if not actually booked yet.

BakewellGin1 · 18/02/2021 08:41

A few hospital appointments, DS nursery start date, two/three weddings (tbc nearer the time), a weekend in a cottage with friends, a city break and a new year's cottage (mostly September onwards)

My diary before then is pretty empty other then birthdays etc

LawnFever · 18/02/2021 08:44

Two festivals rescheduled from last year that I doubt will happen.

Couple of gigs rescheduled from last year that are later so maybe will happen.

A week at our caravan that I’m hoping we can get to, even if facilities on site aren’t open.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 18/02/2021 08:46

Butlins at Easter and May half term. A hen weekend and wedding in May. Brighton Pride and a festival in August.

I don't think any of these will be happening which is depressing.

SoMuchToBits · 18/02/2021 08:47

I have my work rota for the next couple of months, and my second Covid vaccination on 4th April. Err, that's it!
