Performance review help

I'm currently in the process of completing my performance review paperwork and one of the sections is career aspirations. I love my current role, I'm not looking to climb the ladder, I'm happy with my salary etc., but how do I word this without it sounding bad or that I'm lazy! I'm not lazy, I will take on as much as I can possibly deal with, I enjoy being busy, love the work, am happy taking on new projects related to my role. I have a new line manager who will be carrying out my review, he doesn't know me so I want to stress that I'm happy and secure in my job and I have no aspirations to be a manager which would be the next step

Oh God I hate these, I'd put something like ' to continue to enjoy my work' I am the same as you, quite contented with my lot

Goodness, I have this as well. I normally burble on about training courses I’d like to go on - focussing on skills progression rather than career progression as such.

I hate it when a line report writes something like continue to enjoy my role, sounds lazy. Within your role there will be areas for development, it could be to take on further training in a particular area, refresh training to insure new approaches to the tasks and avoid complacency, gain more experience in an aspect you're less familiar with, shadow another department/team/colleague to give you an alternative perspective on your work and its organisational impact. So many things you can write that aren't about climbing the ladder but about improving and developing in the job you do.

All businesses need a stable infrastructure along with the moving parts. You wish to develop your skills as part of the company infrastructure.

That's exactly my worry, that it comes across as lazy when I'm really not.
