Looking for recommendations for maths for 8 yo DC.

I’m after the apps that uses multiplication, division, timetables and fractions.

Any other resources welcome, please point me in the right direction.

I don’t mind paying for them if it will help us to avoid the disruption caused by ads.

Thank you 🙂

The Maths Factor. It's by carol vordaman. Has all the things you mention and much more. Had a free trial during first lockdown and decided to continue with a subscription. My DD enjoys it.

Ours (4&6) do Maths factor too, (the 6 year old mainly) he seems to be doing well with it and doesn't find it a chore. He has to do it before he has his 'free tablet time'.
£50 a year I think.

For free online maths games, try Cool Math for kids and Maths Frame

My school has bought in Doodle Maths which I also trialled at home with my own children. It’s a big hit! Monthly sub is £5.99 I think. There is a free trial period so you have a week to make up your mind.

I’ve used squeebles for times tables, not sure if they have a fractions version. Have also recently heard of times tables rockstars which lots of schools use - it does associated division facts too, and is only about £8 per year for an individual.

For practising times tables, number bonds and division facts "hit the button" is good. It doesn't do fractions though.

Ixl and mathletics are great if one can afford to subscribe.
Free apps: Sumdog (optional subscription) and Zoomaths ( free)
