I don't usually suffer from migraines.
The last big snowfall we got was in spring of 2018 and it was the beast from the east. I got very sick at the time. I has a chest issue or some sort of chest infection at the time. Also at the time I had a blinding headache and I was sensitive to bright lights. I really think it was the snow and the cold that caused the headache and I think looking back it was a migraine but I got no official diagnosis.
I remember I suffered a similar blinding headache during storm opehila in 2017.
I don't think I experienced anything like it since the beast from the east. Until last night. I finished work and I was in my kitchen trying to make dinner. I wasn't able for a big meal so I boiled the kettle for a pot noodle. I couldn't remain standing up and I just had to go to bed. I wore a jacket and cap to bed and I took a hot water bottle and heat pad to bed. I woke up this morning and I was good again.
I really think it was a migraine and it was caused by a change in the weather. We have a snowfall now. I am good now today but I am standing up well with no headache. I need to be mindful of the snowy conditions outside and stay in as much as possible.
Does any one else experience migraines with a change in weather?
