Help - birthday present ideas for 14yo boy...

...who has no idea of anything he would like!

Have got him a wireless gaming controller, some sweets and a few books, apart from that I'm stumped.

He doesn't need any tech, doesn't want anything for his room (newly refurbished), still has a gaming voucher left from Christmas. His non-gaming hobbies are drama (not on for foreseeable future) and karate (got all kit already). Grown out of Lego. Not into clothes or toiletries yet!

Don't want to get him tat, could give him cash but he has £££ in savings already as he never spends his pocket money.

It is lovely to have a non materialistic child but a nightmare at birthdays and Christmas Grin

My children are like this. They're mature enough to realise that there's no point in having stuff they don't want just for the sake of it, so we've sort of delayed birthday presents for the last few years until they've thought of something they'd really want (doesn't help being close to Christmas!)
Last year DD was 14, and essentially just had token present for birthday, then six months later decided she'd like to learn guitar so we got her an electric guitar then.
Might not be for everyone, but it works for us.

My boy is like this. You say no tech so I suppose Alexa, wireless phone charger, wireless headphones etc no good?
What about chocolate bombs with marshmallows inside (Cocoba website)
Redbubble do loads of stuff to personalise. This Christmas I got two different design karate t shirts for DS to wear under his kit. Also got a fleece throw in two sizes, one to snuggle under on the sofa, the other for his bed both with a gaming theme. I wouldn’t call them fleece, they are comforter soft which was better as he loves the feel of them. They also do phone covers, bags, posters etc.
There are also a lot of good games about.
Does he like science? Festival of the spoken Nerd do good science show videos. Mathsgear website has interesting stuff.
A play station glass also went down very well as did a play station controller cushion.

A puppet theatre? Some are aimed at young children but not all, some use magnets, the basic ones are carboard cut outs on sticks.

Shadow theatre is a similar idea.

A promise of a trip to the theatre when they reopen?
