The wife of one of DH’s work colleagues had her first day induction for a new job on Zoom and she had a beard filter turned on which she couldn’t turn off! Not the best first impression Grin

@Cocolapew I was eating a Jaffa cake, and literally nearly choked because I was laughing so hard at the potato face. I'm sat here late at night in the office by myself, supposedly working, and I've got tears of laughter running down my face.

Cannot WAIT to show DP tomorrow. I keep breaking out in snorts of laughter every time I think about it.

Why do the people play with filters before the meetings? Obviously, they won't have time to switch it off. Or is it just attention seeking?

Last year there was a funny filter video in Pakistan's government I think. A man had pink ears or I don't remember now.

They can be left on from when someone else is using the account. Same with embarrassing name changes. My friend's son changed her name to Stinky Poo Head, or something like that, and she only noticed once she was in the meeting.

I am crying. My cat may have walked across screen in a court hearing I attended once, but at least I’ve never actually been a cat.

Hats off to the other participants for mainly keeping a straight face. I’d have to have excused myself, I’d have been in hysterics.

Zoom filters are really hard to change back. I had to use DD's laptop and it took a while to find out how to remove the daft background she'd added. It was hidden within another menu.
