I got 5 days to order something and have no clue, any ideas? What's your plan?

We're not like super romantic but a little something would be nice x

This year just a card and chocs. Last year a massive mug with 'I love you this much' on the side.

Hopefully a decree absolute but realise that isn't the spirit of this thread 😀

doadeer · 09/02/2021 15:13

Something homemade usually I write a funny story or poem

Tryingtogetitright · 09/02/2021 15:14

An OS map for a UK holiday we're hoping to go on later this year, a chocolate brownie (local company - the most delicious brownies ever!), a card and a pair of walking socks! We always have a special meal at home too. Usually the M&S valentine's meal but we're having a take away this year

Funny though, along with the annual subscription.

I'm totally stuck too. We do gifts because it's also our wedding anniversary but never go out for dinner as well, it's always shit and overpriced with lots of couple crammed in. I'm more of an anti valentines, gets lots of people together and have a rowdy party but not this year. This year we shall be having lunch with MIL as she's in our bubble...
He's a gadget twat, needs no smelly stuff, clothing and upgrades his stuff faster than I can.

Dart board and darts. Giant cookie.

An unusual vase and a book about 1970s sweet wrappers 😀

wlv12 · 09/02/2021 15:31

We are having one of those meal in a box delivered from a restaurant as a treat.

Letsnotargue · 09/02/2021 15:32

Fancy cheese. It’s my birthday on Valentines Day, he always gets me a separate birthday and Valentines present (because I used to moan how it’s a crap day for a birthday as V Day hijacks it with rubbish set menus and weird atmospheres as described upthread).

We probably wouldn’t do presents otherwise, but at least this one we can share.

Logmein · 09/02/2021 15:35

I got my DH cheese as well, a cheese 'cake' only because I needed an excuse to buy one of the cheeses.
We don't normally bother.

yumscrumfatbum · 09/02/2021 15:40

A transit van mug to replace the one I bought him for Christmas and then broke. He hasn't noticed it's gone so I get to enjoy the confusion when he opens another.

AprilThe8th · 09/02/2021 15:40

Bj and a card. I'm hoping for the female equivalent

Fuppy · 09/02/2021 16:24

@ShowOfHands

I renew his annual subscription to our marriage.

Nothing, I think we bought something novelty the first year we were together but nothing since. Neither of us particularly care about it. We buy each other gifts, nothing big, usually novelty things though out the year.

caringcarer · 09/02/2021 16:29

Cricket ticket for June at Edgbaston.

niceupthedance · 09/02/2021 16:46

Sexy pants

MrsDThomas · 09/02/2021 17:22

Absolutely nothing.

KindergartenKop · 09/02/2021 19:27

A box of his favourite sweets from Etsy!

doctorhamster · 09/02/2021 19:37

A card. Might cook him his favourite dinner but we're both recovering from COVID and feeling a bit crap.

BackforGood · 09/02/2021 20:21

Nothing.

Cricket ticket for June at Edgbaston.

Oh! we've just got ours - does that count ? (though actually he bought them....) Smile

Sceptre86 · 10/02/2021 06:58

A card, jeans and some new boots. This year he is getting a valentines day spread from the caterers that did the food on our wedding for us to enjoy. I imagine I will get flowers, a card and I asked for earrings (nothing too expensive but that I can wear now and again).Oh and chocolate too.
