Sports trainers to wear with insoles.

I’ve recently acquired insoles from podiatrist as have flat feet and over pronating. But they raise my foot too high in my trainers. I also need a wider fit when wearing the insoles.
Any suggestions for sporty as opposed to fashion trainers, with a wide fit, that can take insoles??
Thanks.

I have orthotics for flat feet and I find ASICS fit them well if I take out the insole and size up half a size.

if you go to a proper running shop they can fit you with trainers for over pronation. They should have a gait analysis thing.

Yes I would also wait and go to running shop. Our film you on cross trainer and can see which trainers work best.

I wear my orthotics under the insole of my trainers but I have fairly shallow feet. The running shops tend to tell you that you need a neutral shoe if you wear orthotics but I still wear the higher end of support shoes with mine!
New balance and Brooks do wide fit in some brands. Altras are also wider but zero heel drop so might not suit. Or try men's ones if they come in your size as they tend to be deeper.

YY to a running shop. Accelerate in Sheffield are going online video trainer fitting consultations, tty giving them a ring for advice. The guy who owns the shop really knows feet and trainers!!

Thanks for replies.
I have bought Brooks and they are very comfy. I got the wide fit, and for over pronating. But they are very low at the heel so when wearing insoles my foot slips out.
ASICS are out. I have a Morton’s Neuroma and ASICS are killing me. They don’t seem to do a wide fit. I don’t have a wide foot, but any pressure on the side of my foot really hurts the neuroma.
There is a sports shop in town that has been recommended to me by a physio. I’ll wait until they open.
I really want them for work, I’m a nurse and standing for long periods (theatre etc type setting). That’s why I want to wear the insoles with trainers.

Relacing the Brooks trainers at the top could help with the slipping - I wear orthotics and I've done this for mine. I have Saucony for a good fit. ASICS are too narrow for mine.

The middle one in this image is what I mean (hope you can see it)
