FSM vouchers and part time school place?

Is anyone's child attending school part time and usually get the vouchers but hasn't this time (or still are getting them)?

Does anyone know the situation with this or does it vary? My children go to school twice a week and are home for the other 3 days. I usually get the vouchers but haven't this time.
I'm wondering if its because they go in, thought I'd get experiences on here before emailing.
Putting off asking the school first as its 2 school mums that work in the office and private information has leaked before so I'm a bit dubious.

You should get the vouchers for every (week) day your children are at home, and if you’re providing packed lunches for the days they’re in school, for those days too. If the school claims it’s too complicated to do “mix and match” , say you’ll send packed lunches in and they should then treat you as if you’re home schooling all week. And get them to back date them too (to 5th Jan): the funding comes from the government, NOT the school , so it doesn’t come off their bottom line.
( BTW I order these vouchers for 200+ pupils a week in our school so I do know the DFE guidance!)

This is so helpful thanks, I am struggling a bit so if I can get some help from the vouchers then that would be brilliant.

Shame on those employees for making you feel hesitant in requesting the support you are entitled to.

This , absolutely.

They’re not complying with the DFE guidance :
“Support for pupils who have to stay at home
Under normal circumstances, schools do not provide free school meals to eligible children who are not in school. During the national lockdown, we expect schools to continue supporting children eligible for benefits-related free school meals who are at home during term time.”
Hope they realise the error of their ways Earlybirdmissedtheworm
