Getting a treat takeaway tomorrow for dinner and I'm bored of the usual I get. I camt handle any spice at all. Even think mint tooth paste burns. Either chinese or Indian. What do I want?? Hit me with your faves please

Im in the passanda camp for a non spicy indian. Chinese wise - prawn toast, chicken or beef chow mein

Chasni isn't spicy. Its sort of sweet but really creamy

Local pub take away? Pie? Steak?

Mango chicken is like a fruity version of korma, really tasty, sweet and goes well with a peshwari nan which is filled with a coconut paste . One of my favourites. From the Chinese try crispy chicken or beef and ask if they can serve sauce seperate. If the sauce is not they'll normally swop if for sweet and sour sauce etc if you prefer. I normally get honey chilli sauce which isn't hot but different takeaway fko different sauces with it.

Have you order dinner yet? What did you decide?

Sober4Summer20 · 05/02/2021 17:59

I'm having Vegetarian Spring Rolls, a Dry Chicken Chow Mein and some Prawn Crackers. It should be here in 15 minutes. Can't wait!

I find Indian takeaways are either too spicy or don''t have any spice at all. I normally have lamb rogan josh which is mild. Chinese takeaways are a bit old hat now, no one I know still has them
