A Covid birthday to remember?

I'm looking for some ideas for my DH's 30th birthday which will be in May. He's definitely feeling a bit glum about turning 30 which I know is ridiculous (I'm a bit older) but I think everyone feels a bit daunted before a big birthday! Anyway in normal times I'd organise something really special and splash out- holiday, city break, Michelin starred meal, hotel etc etc.

However due to Covid 19 and also because we recently had a baby, the above ideas look unlikely. Even if the pandemic were under control by then, our new baby will be 8 months and never having met our families yet so I doubt we would be in the position to have her looked after for the night, or even for a few hours in the day by then. (We only have two family members still alive who could in theory babysit, although they live miles away, and it looks like they may have only met baby once if at all by then).

Soooo, considering all the above, but still hoping there might be a bit more freedom by May, (let's assume so) does anyone have any ideas for experiences or gifts I can get my lovely DH?

Thank you!!

Depends where you are based and what his interests are.
I organised s vineyard visit in Surrey last year but they may not be your thing?

Takeaway from a Michelin starred restaurant if you have one nearby. Ones by us are all doing this at the moment.

Thanks for these. Not sure if we could do vineyard tour with baby in tow?

You can get an online wine tasting (and cheese if desired). They send you the wine (and cheese) in the post and the tasting is hosted online by a wine specialist.

There are a few about at varying prices.

This is obviously only useful if you enjoy wine.
