Just that really. Struggling with the general shitness of covidland... so in an attempt to try and focus on A Good Thing...

Fancy sharing signs of spring where you are? Anything from flora to fauna to your kids paintings Grin.

From my garden today

Edgeworthia (smells lovely too)
Crocus 'Blue Pearl'
Primula (don't know which variety, was a garden centre rescue)

Snowdrops are out too, replacing the cyclamen in autumn. All so welcome these days!

Love this! My photos are less impressive but I'll put them up anyway Grin

Rain drops cradled in new sedum rosettes emerging, and my, thus far, single snowdrop. Lots more promising to open and some daffs looking promising too. Yay.

Wow thank you for this thread OP. I actually nearly started crying. Can't believe how hard I've been holding on for spring and summer.

Yes OP. Born yesterday. We dont lamb until Easter. Its expected when your sheep are on the common. It just happens.

We once had 11 lambs born in one snowy day 3 yrs ago. We hadn’t placed a ram in the field! Only takes one frisky bugger then....

We dont. They’re Welsh Mountain sheep and a hardy bunch. They learn its tough from the off. We dont have snow and pretty mild so theyll be fine anyway.

We lost an ewe very soon after birth 6 yrs ago and we had the twins living in the inglenook for days before moving into the utility room. Its tough work as were not a farm, just a small holding with a few small sheds.
