Dodgy light switch or not?

Every time I touch a certain switch in my house, I get a little lecky shock.

No one else does.

Is there a reason that it would only give me a shock?

It makes no difference if I have shoes on just incase it makes a difference

Is it not just this type of thing?
Often times people feel a shock when they touch the metal screws on the light switch due to a static discharge. Static electricity is the build-up of electrical charges from the surface of objects. ... Though these minor shocks are not dangerous, they can be irritating, Luckily, there are ways to prevent them

If you touch it straight after and don’t get a shock that’s because the static has discharged. Some people seem to get more static shocks than others in general.

Well, I was wishfully thinking it's my Nan who had a switch in her kitchen that did the same thing.

It's only my kitchen switch, same as in her house.

I know it probably isn't but I went her grave last week and tidied it up etc. Had a little chat with myself as if she could hear me.

She's been passed a few years but I go, talk to her, tidy her grave etc.

Sorry, I was trying to reassure you that you weren’t about to be electrocuted!

It’s lovely that you have a chat when you visit her grave. I prefer your version so keep feeling her with you when you get that little shock, I’m sure it makes you think of her and smile whenever you feel it Flowers

Thank you @Flowerythoughts I will always think of her when I get a little shock Grin
