If you were going to apply for a TV game show, which one would you choose?

Like Pointless, The Chase etc?

I've applied for the Chase. I went to a quiz night hosted by Shaun Wallace and we came first, it was really good fun and he gave some anecdotes about the show which made it sound write an interesting process.

Tipping point
When I get through to the final round😆 I will put my counter in Number 1 or 4
It pisses me off when they choose Number 2 or 3

Applied for Pointless a couple of years ago with DH and got to the audition but we didn't get chosen.

I love Pointless and adore Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman. However, I have a phobia of photos of me and can only imagine that having to actually be on TV would be more than I could cope with ☹️

Oh well: I win loads of episodes when I play along at home.

Oooo who wants to be a millionaire! I'd either not get past Fastest Finger First or go away with a decent pot of money. Depending on questions and who my phone a friends are

I've been on The Chase and won. I've occasionally applied to others but not heard anything. I was really hit with nerves on the show though so I don't know if that will affect my chances of getting on anything else as you have to tell them the shows you've been on and if you won.

I've always thought Catchphrase seemed like a piece of piss considering the amount of prize money on offer and only having two competitors. Of course you'd have to get chosen to go on in the first place, and I suspect I'm not the kind of person they're looking for!

Tenable & impossible. I used to want to go on supermarket sweep and who dares win but obviously they are not around anymore,

One of my sons was on countdown a few years ago and did really well. But didn’t win. He enjoyed the experience and plans to apply for something else. He’s very mathematical rather than general knowledge so not sure which ones to try for yet.

Does total wipeout count as a game show?
If not the crystal maze or resurrecting the Krypton factor. Or maybe gladiators when I shift my lockdown weight

My DM and my DH were on the Generation Game. Mr Blobby gunged my mum, bought her a large drink in the bar afterwards. They had a lovely day but it’s totally rigged
