For me, it's a cliche....

my kids.

I can't believe that I have produced such lovely, kind, funny humans. In my brokenness. Despite my brokenness. They're better than I and I'm so thankful to have them.

You?

I would say my kids too. Me and DH are very middling looks wise, but my god, my kids are honestly so beautiful 😆

Personal wise though, I would say my decision to live abroad in Thailand for a year at age 21. It didnt technically 'happen' to me, I chose it, but I met my DH on day 1, and gained an entire different perspective of life.

I cannot make up my mind whether it is my daughter whom I love to bits or the great fortune of being born to simply wonderful parents. Sad to say, I didn't fully appreciate them when they were still here.

Sheleg · 30/01/2021 21:07

My godfather leaving me £300k in his will. Changed my life.

Having my babies!

nevernotstruggling · 30/01/2021 21:11

My dds hands down. I won the lottery a million times over when they were born. The older they get the more the more consumed with joy I become.

BeautifulStar · 30/01/2021 21:14

Meeting my dh - he has given me a life I could never have imagined.

Covidcorvid · 30/01/2021 21:19

Getting sent on a training course at work which I aced so highly they asked me to join them as an instructor. It totally changed my career trajectory and led to my dream job.

Leaving my abusive ex, thinking I'd never be happy again. Meeting my hub who's helped put me back together again. The birth of my children, the most wonderful, exhausting thing I've ever done!

Woodlandbelle · 30/01/2021 22:22

Meeting dh and having our children. 100 percent

But also gettibg through uni on my own coming from a disadvantaged background on free school meets type of thing. Buying my first home in my early 20s and getting my masters degree while working full time. I have also travelled.

It's doesnt stop me beating myself up everyday about how things have turned out in some ways. But yes my dc and my education.

Someone1987 · 30/01/2021 22:30

After a horrible childhood, my mum dying, being abused and suffering ten years of infertility including an ectopic pregnancy and losing a tube and miscarriages and thinking my life was over...
To meeting my husband and having our little boy. 🌈

But also, like a PP said, the older I get the more I appreciate how fortunate I am to have my parents. I've always loved them but it took me a long time to realise how tragically common it is for people to have abusive/toxic/absent parents.

BigGreen · 30/01/2021 22:43

Having a real genuine love of learning that was nurtured by my folks.

HPLikecraft · 30/01/2021 23:05

Meeting DH, having our DC, getting amazing house at knockdown price and getting my beautiful dog.

Ltdannygreen · 30/01/2021 23:20

No surprise but my kids, DS has asd so it can be very challenging but I wouldn’t change either of them for the world, I can’t think of my life without them.. I don’t want to be in a world without them.
Also my mum, we are best friends, we are very very very close and I just can’t imagine how I would function without any of them in my life.
