Would you return a pair of shoes which wrecked your feet on the first wear?

I bought a pair of flat sneakers-type shoes from Sainsbury's & wore them for the first time last weekend.

I only had them on for a short time (1-2 hours) and walked maybe 1/2 a mile in them.

This resulted in them wearing the skin off my heels, to the extent they bled through my socks.

Would you return in these circumstances?

I've never had this since I was a child and my mum would just guess what size to get me.

I'm guessing your feet must happen to be standard width and shape. My feet are very wide, but my heels are narrow so I have a nightmare with standard width shoes - tight at the toe yet loose and rubbing the back of my heel.

No I wouldn’t return a pair of shoes just because they gave me blisters or hurt my feet.

I’d wear plasters or change my socks or insole or something.

Also the fact you bled in them is particularly gross and having worked at a customer service returns desk before , this is SO unfair on the unknowing staff member, to have to handle them.

Sorry but Just suck it up
