Should I be in pain after a tooth extraction?

Had my tooth out yesterday and I have no pain whatsoever. I had to have a lot of anaesthesia as i could still feel the pain after the first needle. I ended up having 5 needles in total.

I have work in the morning and I'm scared that I'm going to wake up in excruciating pain or is it normal to not have any at all?

I'm not sure, but I'd guess that you've just been really lucky! If you've been okay today then I'm pretty sure you'll still be fine in the morning :)

I had pain for about a week after extraction. It could be you're still numb, but if pain kicks in, the thing that worked for me was taking 2 Ibuprofen and 2 paracetamol and that helped every 4 hours. The main thing is not to dislodge the blood clot as that can cause dry socket.

A dull ache is usually. Not excruciating pain though. I think the discomfort lasted a couple of days. Take it easy at work. Take paracetamol. If the pain is bad consult the dentist.

I was fine the day after I had all my wisdom teeth out.

I had no real pain from about 5 hours after tooth extraction. But I'd been in so much pain before they took it out I think my whole body was in sheer relief.

The pain after tooth removal is mild however dont heavy lift for a good 48 hours as it can trigger bleeding
