Would I be weird to buy a whiteboard?

I've always worked from home about 50% of the time but since covid I'm now officially a full time homeworker.

I've just taken on a new role which is all very new to me and a massive step up. I think I'm a bit weird, but I find it much easier to concentrate if I draw things out and I think for this project I'm really going to need to concentrate 😹

Thing is, the office is our only spare room. Obviously we've no-one coming to stay for the foreseeable but when we do will they think I'm a weirdo?! It seems a bit odd for a home office! Maybe I'll stick some fairy lights round it or something, pretty it up😄

I remember seeing Magic Whiteboard on Dragon’s Den

Good idea, OP. Why on earth not?

The magnetic glass boards come in lots of colours and look much better than a standard whiteboard.

The right decision! Definitely get one a size larger than you think you need, and magnetic, and gets lots of magnetic "pins" and a magnetic pens holder.

To go back to your original question, yes Grin

I have whiteboards AND an A2 sized post it pad which is bloody brilliant. I don't care if people think I'm weird

@wibblewombat

I have one stood on the dining room mantelpiece. I haven't got a job but do have ADHD so it's invaluable for remembering things, appts, etc.

Bloody love it.

But of an old thread but I have ADHD and that’s a fantastic idea. Is it a mini one or does it take up the whole mantelpiece?

I am perimenopausal and my ADHD is on steroids! I am thinking I might need a small whiteboard or similar in multiple rooms as struggling to remember anything at the moment.

Can you link to your whiteboard if you are still about and can remember where it is from?

Thank you!
