Hi all,
I had an interview on Thurs afternoon for a uni course to retrain completely.
It is very competitive and I have had to jump through a lot of hoops even to get as far as interview. I prepped hard but am not sure how well it went. I don't think it was an utter disaster, as in I don't feel I made a total prat of myself.
However, I have since thought of a few other things I could have said. It was very quickfire in format so not much time to think.
My main concern beforehand was freezing up and not saying anything for a question, and then losing my confidence for the rest so I ended it feeling quite elated that that didnt happen, then had a bit of a crash and a panic realising the things I should/ could have said.
I am now a bit more level headed about it but If I get on this course it will be life changing and what I have always wanted to do. Lots of reasons as to why I didn't do it when younger.
In short, I feel it could go either way and it could be until Sept before I hear.
I do have interviews at some other universities. For a couple of reasons, this first one would be far and away my first choice.
I have (diagnosed) anxiety and panic disorder which are not helpful here!
Any tips on staying calm and laissez faire about this at all, as it is obviously out of my hands now?
Applicants can try again the next year, then after that, options get a bit limited.
