And which make/model would you recommend for a household of four adults?

Thanks

Would you like ours? You'd have to clean a year+ worth of dust off it though Blush

I bought one after reading recommendations on here.

Good gadget - family of 4 here. Keep an eye on Amazon and wait for an offer. Had mine for 4 years now. Some people are evangelical about them but in the end it's really just a pressure cooker/slow cooker combo - I use it for casseroles, curry, butter chicken, mash potatoes..to prove bread dough. I cook a lot and use it most days.

Mine is in the garage. Somewhere.

Also bought after reading about it on here.

Mine has been used once in about three years.

I use mine at least once a week. Great once you get used to it. I use mine for Sunday “roasts”, making stock, poached eggs. I know there’s loads more it could do.

Hah, if you live in my council area for travel, yes!

Commit to using it and you will? I have one and use it all the time. Sometimes every day but usually 2-4x per week. I make chickpeas for hummus, yoghurt, curries etc. I've made some really yummy steamed chicken in it. It's changed my way of cooking. Wouldn't be without it.

3-4 times a week. USed for everything from cooking rice and making mashed potato; chillis, stews, risottos and casseroles to making
cakes and sunday roasts - gammon (finished in the oven), roast chicken and pulled pork. I love it and it saves a fortune on electricity.

I find ours useful for when I get home and think ‘shit, I should’ve defrosted that meat/bunged something in the slow cooker this morning!’

Frozen meat can be bunged in and cooked easily and a whole roast chicken and veg in about 35 minutes.

We use it a couple of times a week so it’s definitely saved time/effort/sanity.
