Argh! Why do companies do this?!

Oxo cubes used to be perfectly crumbleable. Squish 'em in their packet, crumble them into the sauce, job's a good'un.

So they have to change the shape to a stupid X shape that even Chuck Bloody Norris would struggle to crush, let alone my puny fingers.

WHY????

They've been X's since about 2009.
I normally use Knorr cubes but bought some Oxo's recently. The foil always bursts when I crush them.

I drink oxo too. Add a splash of milk and it's like a cuppa soup!
