What would you name your home (ideal or current) if you wanted to/was able to. Feel free to describe the ideal home too.

Mine's a nice little cottage like you'd see in storybooks.
'Wisteria something' or 'Something Wisteria'. Haven't decided yet what that something is.

We’re in the process of building a home and are trying to come up with a name!

My house already has a name but I covet the cottage that’s two doors up. It’s called Sunny Cottage and I want it all to myself. It could be my place to go when I want some peace and quiet and then I could come back home when I’m sufficiently de sensitised to excessive noise and mess.

I'd already named my place The Folly (cos I'd decided to have it before even looking round it, so a bloody foolish thing to do?). Been here 5 years now, love it, but to me and my friends it will always be The Folly

Mine should be called Dunrentin'. Except that we're in a European country where nobody would understand the pun, or why the English thought renting was so bad in the first place. The only named house here is called Je m'y plais, which I think means "I like it here".

My DM recently caused a minor upset when she named her new house Apple Tree Cottage. She somehow hadn't noticed that it was already the name of the house opposite. I haven't dared to ask if she's changed it or has resigned herself to a lifetime of getting someone else's mail. :)
