Any experience of the prescription delivery services?

The sort of thing like Lloyd's Echo, the Co-Op one or I think there's an NHS one?
I've always wanted to support my local pharmacy so have continued to collect prescriptions from there. A bit of an 'incident' yesterday with a very rude pharmacist has made me wonder about going over to the delivery for regular medication.
What happens about other prescriptions that you need quickly?

Grateful for any experiences.

I haven't had one issue with echo in over 18 months, if not longer. I take about 4 or 5 medications daily.

@MadisonMontgomery

That's quite clearly the patients fault for either A not ordering in advance or B not checking the update of their order

Same. Order on time and meds arrive on time.

Another vote for Echo.

I take what appears to be an unusual medication - I quite often had to visit 4 or 5 local pharmacies before I could get my script filled.

Now Echo reminds me and it gets delivered, no bother, no fuss. I’m a fan.

I use pharmacy 2U. Much easier than sending a slip into the GPs and never knowing of the pharmacy across the road have it when you turn up a week later.
I can order from an app and follow the progress from gp confirming to the warehouse despatching.
The only issue is, although I'm sure it goes for all the big online companies, if there is a problem or issue you end up calling a call centre and talk to someone with no idea about medications, rather than the pharmacist in person who knows who to ring at the surgery because they've cocked up again. I was once sent the wrong insulin, it was a vial but I needed the penfill cartridges. The person I spoke to argued that it was exactly the same thing as they had just googled it. They wouldn't get their head around the fact that I wouldn't be able to get it into my insulin pen.

Echo works well for us, never had a problem and get a reminder when it's time to reorder x

Pharmacy 2 U are fine.

However my GP did say that using a local regular pharmacy is the safest option, as they are a second eye to check none of your meds will react against each other etc.

Online service won’t do that, they just spit out whatever they are asked to.

Thank you everyone.
The meds that I (and dd) would have delivered are well established so no worries about interactions etc. Most of my meds are hospital controlled and they know everything I'm on.

I have found Pharmacy2U to be very good. Not only, do my medicines arrive in short order but i have a message from them if Government rules {Covid) change at all. I was not sure about using this method for my scripts but would not change back to collecting myself.

@Sirzy

I use pharmacy 2 u for mine and haven’t had any issues.
I use them too, the only thing to watch for is that they email the prescription reminders too early and then the Gp turn down the request so it wastes your time and the Gp time

Mum uses them and they have been excellent.
