I'm sure there are millions and they will differ for everyone, but we are rewatching loads of older films during lockdowns, so some great ones have reappeared for me.

For example: One for me recently was 28 Weeks Later.

Robert Carlisle character and his wife are in a farmhouse, having dinner with a jovial bunch by low candle light. Very atmospheric. Candles giving off a very shadowy, late evening vibe.

A few minutes later, the zombies are at the doors and windows, pulling off the wooden slats and boards to reveal broad daylight and the horror that the family have had to live in the dark avoid discovery.

It was a great scene that stuck with me.

What are yours?

The Big Lebowski. So many, can’t choose one.

Lorenzo's Oil - fly to baby Jesus. Kills me every time.

For completely opposite reasons, the very end of Jurassic Park. Pure theatrical schlock, but its fab

@iklboo

Pretty much all of Requiem For A Dream but especially the sex worker scene near the end with Jennifer Connolly.
That was dreadful!

In many ways the things that you know are happening IRL to someone, somewhere are much worse than the Zombie/ Vampire/ Supernatural stuff.

Manchester By The Sea when Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams bump into each other on the street years after the incident.
