Ds loved the Alex Rider series. We had it on Amazon Prime.

Point break

Fighting with my family about a family of UK wrestlers. Has The Rock, Nick Frost and Stephen Merchant and is based on a true story. My 13 and 16 year old DSs (and the rest of us) liked it.

Hunt for the wilder people.

A few rude words but a real great film about a stroppy 13 year old who realised adults are actually okay after being a complete pain in the arse to every adult. 😁😂

Is this on prime. I love a hidden message
Starlightstarbright1 · 09/01/2021 22:19

Not a movie but we have been watching the circle us version... good for reinforcing that you never know who you are talking to

liveinthesticks · 09/01/2021 22:38

Several episodes in to Cobra Kai and just clicked it’s a sin off from karate kid 🤣. Now need to watch as completely confused over who the man is that’s set up the cobra Kai.
Yes yes yes give me spoilers and explain.

Oh I love all these. Ds2 liked nearly all of these.

Starlightstarbright1
On amazon but 1.99 I think. It's a really nice feel good film in the end and very funny too. Same lad who played "firefist" in deadpool 2.

It's a bit different.

Bbq1 · 09/01/2021 23:02

Huge Ww fan here from the Lynda Carter era. The new Ww films are great though and Gal Gadot dies a great job. I have a 15 year old, ds who enjoyed these too. Also recommend Ferris Buellers Day Off.

Brilliant thank you. Sounds perfect Sunday afternoon film once I remove him from x box

At the end of the Karate Kid, Danny( Ralph Macchio) fights a blond kid, from the enemy dojo. That’s Johnny, the blond man now, who’s looking for some meaning in life.
Kreese is the older guy, he was the sensei in the enemy dojo. Not very nice, teaches them no mercy, bit harsh

Aardvarkitsabloodyaardvark · 10/01/2021 00:07

Yes it's Johnny the one Daniel fights with throughout film 1! All grown up and quite amusing.

DowntheTown · 10/01/2021 00:37

Second ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople.’ Finally got round to watching it (it’s 2016) with my 13 year old ds this week and both absolutely loved it. Really funny and touching.

Bbq1 · 10/01/2021 11:33

Oh Bill & Ted!

itsgettingweird · 10/01/2021 12:41

What about looking at a series you can keep going back to when you get to this point.

My ds loves tech, the military and nerdy type things!

We watch NCIS and Scorpion.

He also loves comedy based around news and unrealistic things and we've watched have I got news for you, mock them week, would o lie to you and are now working our way through hypothetical!
