Earring making kits

Almost 14yo Dd1 would like to make some "funky" earrings; could anyone suggest a fairly cheap kit or the things we'll need to start, that she could have as a birthday present?

(I'm not convinced she'll actually do it so don't want to spend a fortune atm).

Ta:)

(I've posted in arts & crafts too, in case anyone sees this twice!)

Resin starter kit? This one is pendents but there are thousands of moulds out there:

I know Amazon isn’t great, but the pictures in this link should give you an idea of the sort of backings you’ll need, depending on whether she wants to make studs or danglies.

I’d be careful with resin if I were you, I think that there are some safety issues regarding breathing equipment that you might want to look into before getting a kit for her.

Get a basic set of jewellery wire tools from hobby craft- they need round nose pliers, flat nosed pliers and wire cutters. A pack of eye pins in the colour they like , and a pack of flat headed pins. A pack of jump rings ( I think 5mm) in the same colour. And a pack of earring hooks. Then you need either beads or pendants / whatever you want to put on the earrings. Then YouTube or Pinterest to learn how to make basic earrings- it’s really easy.

Jewellery resin is fine. It's odourless. From their site:

It has no solvents, is cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, and is safe for home use (when used as directed). Designed for making beautifully finished jewellery, this thick and UV stable doming resin can also be used for artwork, filling jewellery bezels and shallow silicone moulds.

Thank you; I think I'll do as Stupidusernamefaff suggests, and leave my intetnet search open on a page of pendants/beads and see if she says anything so I have a vague idea of what she'd like.

I was actually going to look at resin for something else as well, but for dd2, so maybe we could try that as a joint project.

Google jewellery findings on eBay, there are also cheap kits- you can just buy and assemble
