Here are mine 👃.

Sudocrem.

Any kind of bread when it has just come out of the oven ( especially garlic bread)

Rosemary, dried or fresh from the plant

Thyme, dried or fresh from the plant. I grow this sometimes just to smell it 😊.

Can’t think of any more at the moment, so...what are yours?

So, what are yours?

And yes, that smell of school!
Love the DC’d smell of nursery and the primary.
And my own (ancient days) smell of wac crayons in school.

JumpingJamboree · 08/01/2021 19:39

Fresh basil, cut grass, summer rain on hot tarmac, bonfire on an autumn day.
The next one isn't really a smell but a very crisp, frosty winters morning. The air just smells so fresh, it's hard to describe really.
I'm sure there is more I will think of.

Most cleaning products, soap, bleach, Milton, washing powders/liquids/conditioners. Also TCP and Dettol (the brown one).

Baby oil, talcum powder, sudocream, Nivea, baby shampoo.

Hair dye. Nail polish. Nail polish remover.

I also like the smell of most plug in air fresheners, especially the strong citrus smelling ones (I usually like anything with limonene in).

I hate the smell of incense, smoke especially cigarette smoke but also cannabis, coal, etc. I don't mind wood burning so much.

Petrol and other solvent smells.

Fresh paint.

I don't like the smell of cut flowers, pot pourri, anything musty or damp smelling. Yuck.

I love the smell of onions, leeks and garlic cooking, cinnamon, mixed spice and ginger, roast chicken, bacon, rosemary, sage and thyme.

I also love anything minty. Mmm.

helpfulperson · 08/01/2021 19:57

Petrol
Nail polish remover

I kind of understand why glue sniffing was popular

Katyy · 08/01/2021 20:02
