IhateBoswell · 06/01/2021 12:08

What in the actual hell?! 😳

IhateBoswell · 06/01/2021 12:09

When a woman in the show tells him that he should keep his penis in his pants, for instance, he listens. Which is nice. He is accountable.”

Well that’s good Hmm

LimitIsUp · 06/01/2021 12:09

Proper weird (and inappropriate)

Can just imagine paedophiles using this to groom children

CrochetOrBust · 06/01/2021 12:11

Denmark doesn’t have a version of April Fools Day in January, does it? And the Guardian not realise that this is a joke? Grasping at straws here.

It does feel like is a joke doesn’t it! Struggling to believe that this could be an actual kids tv program
FlibbertyGiblets · 06/01/2021 12:15

That is quite horrible. A man with no control over his penis, has to be told by a woman to put it away, nope I can't see the funny in normalising males exposing their genitals in public or indeed falling back on women being responsible for checking men's behaviour.

Mylittleturkeysandwich · 06/01/2021 12:21

Is this real? Or is Denmark a bit bored?

MedusasBadHairDay · 06/01/2021 12:22

I..uh.. no, no words

LaVitaPuoEsserePiuBella · 06/01/2021 12:23

I'm beyond speechless.
So children are being shown a "funny" man who exposes his penis in public??
Grooming in plain sight.

Nancylovesthecock · 06/01/2021 12:25

Sorry but that's hilarious. My DC would roar with laughter.

Though I don't think I could let them watch it as a decent parent.

CatVsChristmasTree · 06/01/2021 12:26

Ummm... WTAF?

Whatwouldscullydo · 06/01/2021 12:26

I dont know whether to laugh or cry...

sandandso · 06/01/2021 12:28

I don't understand the brass neck of the person who would have come up with and pitched this show.

IDontMindMarmite · 06/01/2021 12:28

Just think about the person that thought this up and why.

SoupDragon · 06/01/2021 12:29

I guess it's like Mr Tickle only worse!

What were they thinking??

Same4Walls · 06/01/2021 12:31

I think anyone with any common sense at all would hope that to be the case.

The alternative is that enough adults actually thought this was an acceptable concept for a show aimed at children under 8, and not one of them questioned it and that thought is even more terrifying than the TV show.

WhatWouldPhyllisCraneDo · 06/01/2021 12:32

Seems like lockdown has sent Danish TV producers a bit mad Grin

Whatwouldscullydo · 06/01/2021 12:34

How many put their hands up do ya reckon when the producer asked " l need someone to help me keep this as realistic as possible who can help " ....

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 06/01/2021 13:25

I guess it's like Mr Tickle only worse!

Mr Tackle?

Roger the Todger?

Proper weird - and not a little inappropriate.

MrsWooster · 06/01/2021 13:26

Well played, buffet!

tvsnacking · 06/01/2021 13:29

It is not a joke. It is for real Sad

Hurtandupset2 · 06/01/2021 13:33

What the fuck!?

I...I can't believe anyone could think this was appropriate for any child, let alone 4-8 year olds!!

Poor man can't control himself....so what's new?!
Normalising this to children, especially young girls, is a terrible idea....beyond terrible, actually.

I just have no words.

When is this madness going to end?

Snowisfallinghere · 06/01/2021 13:35

I think it depends how it's done, I mean kids love books about poos, farts, bums and toilets etc and this could just be a harmless extension of that toilet humor theme and maybe there's something positive they'll get across, who knows. I'm not defending it as I haven't seen it, but I like to keep an open mind.

picklemewalnuts · 06/01/2021 13:40

I can (just about) imagine a situation where this felt innocent and like a teaching opportunity. However, the potential for abuse is so glaringly obvious it's hard to imagine anyone developing the idea!
