What are you doing with the DC for New Year’s Eve and day?

Nothing for NYE as they’re only infant school age.

NYD we have lunch booked at a restaurant with friends and then going to see the pantomime.

@Flowersblue we are in guernsey. No restrictions here at all it’s like 2019

Mine are six and three and aren’t particularly bothered. We had a ‘party’ at home this afternoon (household only) with some food treats and dancing / musical statues etc.

DC are 7 and 3, they’re having a sleepover in eldest DD bedroom. DH is cooking a nice curry, then we’ll probably play a couple of board games and bed. Meeting a couple of friends for a walk tomorrow and that’s as exciting as it gets!

We had an Indian food delivery. I watched ghost. Dd and DS are playing among us in dds room and my 20 year old is getting drunk alone in his room listening to crap rave music on zoom to his mates. I'm enjoying the soaps with a baileys.
I will be in bed by 10.
Tomorrow I will make roast pork lunch and then we will all chill for the weekend before work begins again Monday.

We had takeaway pizza tonight and tomorrow we'll go for (yet another) walk.

We usually go for a walk on NYD but very aware we shouldn't be going too far tomorrow, not sure how to distinguish it from all the squillions of walks we've done this year.

Against my better judgment I promised dd (4yo) that I'd wake her at midnight to see the fireworks. I'm worried there won't be any as everyone seems to be doing them now.
Tomorrow we're doing a treasure hunt around the house. No4 since March, but she loves them and I'm getting quite good at writing rhyming clues.

Went out to play with glow stomp rockets today. They will probably want to do the same tomorrow but I think I'll take them to the park or canal in the daylight instead.
We have a gingerbread house to put together.
