Did anyone else ever have that fantasy about ‘having a few months off from life’ and now think what a fucking stupid idea that was?

Pre-COVID, the idea that all social obligations, kids sports clubs and general drudgery would be cancelled for a while to give us a break seemed like heaven.

The reality is fucking mind numbing and I vow not to be such a whinge bag about having loads to do ever again!

Anyone else?

I never want to see another lockdown as long as I live.
Being retired our days were full with travelling, socialising, hobby groups. Meeting family and friends, eating out, and cinema, music gigs.
We’d fit house-work and house hold stuff in amongst it.

All swept away apart from seeing family.
The nicest part of lockdown for me was the near empty roads especially the day I was so fed up, and drove to the Lake District.
Was pure bliss.
