Roll with square sausage and potato scone for 3 of us.
Roll with bacon, fried egg and potato scone for ds

PickAChew · 25/12/2020 23:18

Ds2 had egg sandwich and hot crossbun, as per law.

Ds1 had some cinnamon buns that I froze last weekend, specially, plus an entire block of popcorn embedded chocolate.

jessyjo2 · 25/12/2020 23:20

Sausage and bacon pastry swirls, my boys asked for these to be made especially for the big day.

RomaineCalm · 25/12/2020 23:20

A bacon roll, some blueberries and half a tube of Smarties. All the food groups represented. Grin

disneydreaming · 25/12/2020 23:21

Bacon roll...with a side of chocolate Grin

Itmaybeus · 25/12/2020 23:21

Dc1 who has asd and likes routine had usual cereal.
The rest of us had fruit, fresh juices and pastries.

EnglishRose1320 · 25/12/2020 23:21

Ds1 had a mini pack of frosties and some chocolate orange slices

Ds2 had a different mini cereal and a croissant plus sweets!

Was planning on doing a nice breakfast but was ill myself and to be honest all they ever want is mini cereal, they only ever get them for Christmas, birthdays and sometimes when travelling to a holiday.

mynameisigglepiggle · 25/12/2020 23:23

Chocolate starter followed by smoked salmon, scrambled egg and toasted English muffins! Traditional Christmas Day breakfast for us.

mooncakes · 25/12/2020 23:27

Croissants, jam and berries.
The eldest also had a poached egg on a toasted muffin.

Bunnybigears · 25/12/2020 23:30

DS1 aged 13 had cereal as he literally cnt function without eating a bowl of cereal in the morning.

DS2 aged 10 had some of his selection box

bluechameleon · 25/12/2020 23:44

They had some of the pastries, ignored the fresh fruit and had coco pops.

skankingpiglet · 25/12/2020 23:50

They had a starter of chocolate coins, fruit pastilles, and Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans (🤮). Afterwards, DD1 had scrambled eggs on an English muffin having rejected the smoked salmon (declared it disgusting, despite happily eating if many times before), and DD2 ate just the smoked salmon after deciding the eggs and muffin were inedible (no idea why, she usually eats them). DCs were the perfect pairing - no waste as they swapped plates for the bits the other wouldn't eat.

FrenchBoule · 25/12/2020 23:55

Watermelon and strawberries.

One of our Christmas day traditions is that you can request anything that we have in the house for breakfast(within a reason as I can’t produce roast beef on demand)

DS 1 ate half a watermelon ((and spent whole morning running to the toilet)

DS2 had strawberries.

I remember DS1 as a toddler requesting Jaffa cakes for Christmas breakfast and being absolutely shocked when he got them (about 3, not a whole box)

FrenchBoule · 25/12/2020 23:57

@skankingpiglet haha,that’s my kids!
I remember making sausage pasta bake in tomato sauce. Both like all ingredients but DS1 ate sausages leaving pasta,DS2 ate pasta leaving sausages. They swapped the plates and I rolled my eyes 🙂

MustardMitt · 26/12/2020 00:10

Croissants with Nutella and Bucks Fizz here. Plus, plenty of chocolate and sweets. I think DS3 age 9 had eaten an entire huge jelly bear before 8am.

Superstardjs · 26/12/2020 00:20

Smoked salmon blinis, because she didnt get up till 12.40. M

Lemoncurd · 26/12/2020 00:22

One of the teens made banana bread on Christmas Eve and brought everyone a slice in bed with coffee (with the option of rum butter spread on it!).

Theotherrudolph · 26/12/2020 00:26

DC1 shreddies, DC2 buttered toast and a massive banana shared between them. Pretty much same as every day. They both had a bit of chocolate too. Neither of them are interested in fancy breakfast items, especially as I insist on everyone being dressed and breakfasted before I will consider opening any presents...

butterry · 26/12/2020 02:25

Toasted pannetone with chocolate spread

grassisjeweled · 26/12/2020 02:30

Yogurt drinks, peaches, toast.

badlydrawnbear · 26/12/2020 08:33

Yesterday, pain au chocolat and croissant.

MsMarple · 26/12/2020 08:36

Bacon sandwiches and chocolate orange - all the essential food groups!

PolarnOPirate · 26/12/2020 08:36

Variety pack, chocolate, bacon sarnies! I bought jus rol pain au chocolat but we didn’t do them.

Midnightstar76 · 26/12/2020 08:44

Sausage barms and selection box chocolates

DurhamDurham · 26/12/2020 09:04

2 year old granddaughter was eating chocolate coins before she even went downstairs Grin my daughter managed to get her to eat a ham and cheese omelette by following her around and giving her a forkful while she was playing with her presents. Then it was straight back to the chocolate.
