Did covid shape any of your gift giving this year?

I gave (and received!) lots of nice handcream this year.

We bought DS a football goal, and a mini indoor softplay set for the DC to share, thinking both would help with exercise if we get locked down again.

I made a big effort to buy gifts from independent and local businesses this year. And I bought more small gifts for people I wouldn't usually buy for - eg family I'd normally see on or around Christmas Day, and friends I'd normally be seeing for drinks. I also sent Christmas cards for the first time in years.

The gifts I received included several pairs of socks, as I'm wearing them a lot more since working from home. Also got some outdoors/warm stuff like a scarf and gloves and boots.

Lots less spent here too in terms of quantity. The kids had 3 gifts each from us plus a joint present. With everything they get off everyone else they dont need any more stuff.

@dingoesatemybaby I’m not shocked. Then again, I put reindeer print toilet roll in someone’s stocking, labelled ‘the most wanted item of 2020’ 😂
