Decorations stay up until Epiphany aka twelfth night. Nothing else and return to work as soon as I can (to have holiday at other times).

I'm in the 12 days of Christmas camp - Epiphany is our SECOND Christmas Day, when we have a special meal,give gifts - then all over til February and Carnivale Grin

The last Christmas activity we do has always been on the night before the DC go back to school to 'finish off' the festivities.

It was meant to be ice skating this year at Hampton Court Palace but it has obviously been cancelled now :(

With younger dc we would go to the panto sometime between Christmas and New Year, but we don't bother now. We'd also visit friends and relatives we hadn't seen, and maybe go sales shopping and to spend gift vouchers etc.

And eat all the leftover food, obviously.

We’re going for a Christmassy walk on New Years Eve at a local stately home. I didn’t know what to do for NYE at all so plucked for that. Last year we went to a local aquarium but somehow don’t think it would be as fun with SD and masks.

Still eat the Christmas goodies, and maybe watch the odd Christmassy film or listen to the odd Christmas song up until 1st January. I definitely don't feel Christmassy up until the 6th January. I'm not religious though.

My dc are having Xmas at dad's, we are doing Xmas eve and Xmas day on nye/nyd, so will likely continue the festive feeling for a few days after. Im pretty much ignoring the 25th this year as it'll just be dp and our dogs... feel like Xmas is still miles away as we will be celebrating on NY.
Worked out fine as there's nothing to do on nye/d anyway!

Have a nice time

@Prokupatuscrakedatus

For us (my family) preparation for christmas starts with the frist of advent and ends on the 23rd, christmas starts on the 24th and ends on the 6th, when we will take the tree down.
Us too Xmas Smile
