And how many people? DH seems to think he can do it in two hours in his own but I'm not convinced?

I would say your DH is correct if on his own. Is it brand new? The reason I ask is we put our trampoline up and down, and the more we do it the easier it is as we know what we are doing. It is fiddly as time consuming with the springs but, so worth it.

Our trampoline took 2 of us about 2 hours.

What size is it?

onedayatatime73 · 18/12/2020 10:58

Thank you. I actually don't know the size as he's hidden it in the shed. I'll go and look when the kids are occupied.

Having had experience of DH putting up a 10ft plum trampoline I’d say allow more than 2 hours especially if it has the net surround, we bought one for summer born DD and which he started when she went to bed about 7 and was still doing it by torch light in prep for her birthday the following day! Maybe 2 of you in 2 hours would do.........

Me and my 15yo DS can do a 14ft trampoline up in less than an hour (we've put it up/down several times as it's been moved). One person in 2h is about right, assuming he doesn't do anything wrong. I'd allow for 3h in case he does 90% of the springs and realises he's mismatched springs and loops so has to redo it.

Much easier if done with 2 people working on opposite sides of the trampoline.

Are you aiming to do it on Christmas Eve? If so, it’ll inevitably be double what anyone suggests and there will be a piece missing...

The springs are absolutely back-breaking!!!! I would have a second person on standby but of course I have no idea how strong your DH is!
