If you could press a magic button and fast forward to this time next year, would you?

On no more information than that

Not quite that far ahead but certainly to about May next year.

PrincessNutNuts · 17/12/2020 16:28

Nah. The only way is through. Not abdicating our shared responsibility and skipping to the end.

Iheardit · 17/12/2020 16:31

No I have a 3 month old, skipping forward would mean I miss a lot of firsts

FourTeaFallOut · 17/12/2020 16:33

No, I'll take all the life I can get, the good and the bad.

flapjackfairy · 17/12/2020 16:33

Yes yes yes !

bellagogosdead · 17/12/2020 16:33

No way!

Sgtmajormummy · 17/12/2020 16:33

No way! There are lots of things happening in my life IN SPITE OF the pandemic rather than BECAUSE of it.
I’m quite curious to see the Brexit train crash and hopefully America’s return to sane leadership.

GintyMcGinty · 17/12/2020 16:36

Absolutely yes

EnPoinsettia · 17/12/2020 16:47

No. In all likelihood I’m more than halfway through my allotted years now. Can’t afford to waste a whole year.

If it was just added on the end, then maybe

HarryLimeFoxtrot · 17/12/2020 16:48

No. But I would skip forward 6 months if that were possible.

halcyondays · 17/12/2020 16:49

No, why would I?

notacooldad · 17/12/2020 16:50

Absolutely not!

NastyBlouse · 17/12/2020 16:51

Nope. You can't appreciate the highs if you haven't also experienced the lows.

And I say this as someone who's experienced some lows, believe me.

None of us know how long we've got left, I'm not wishing it away.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 17/12/2020 16:52

No. I have a puppy to train.

MarcelineMissouri · 17/12/2020 16:52

I would like to skip 6 months ahead definitely.

tinselfest · 17/12/2020 16:53

No, because it's unlikely my lovely relative will still be around that long.

ExpensivelyDecorated · 17/12/2020 16:53

No

Vanillaradio · 17/12/2020 16:54

No but I would like to skip to Easter.

Nore · 17/12/2020 16:55

No. I would have to write a contracted novel in about five minutes.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 17/12/2020 16:55

@Iheardit

No I have a 3 month old, skipping forward would mean I miss a lot of firsts
Me too! I’d miss all those lovely firsts and I would be back at work. Why would I want that?
Anotherdayanotherdollar · 17/12/2020 16:56

Absolutely not!
I'm not outwardly a "cherish each day" kinda person but we're really so fortunate to have our lives. I would hate to miss out a year of my children's lives.
What's more, I want to experience the sense of anticipation, progress and hope as the vaccines are rolled out. Hopefully, jubilant at the end.

Flowers to those really struggling, whatever the reason

RainBow725 · 17/12/2020 16:57

No. My DS will have gone to Uni. I will be very pleased for him but also 😭.

Holothane · 17/12/2020 16:58

Yes to see if I’ve had or are waiting for hysterectomy and if I can have the Rolls Royce to hospital. Also to have seen in-laws.

FestiveChristmasLights · 17/12/2020 17:01

No, not at all.

ApplestheHare · 17/12/2020 17:01

No way! Life is (mostly) what we make it. I might as well try and have a good time rather than wishing it away.
