Lorelei - go NC with your parents, they sound a narcissist / enabler

Rory - stop sleeping with other people's husbands

Lane - sleep when the babies sleep

Paris - go to therapy to explore your childhood trauma

Just stop being self centred dicks. All of you (minus Sookie, she’s pretty great, but I’d tell her to LTB for lying about having a vasectomy and getting her knocked up)

I hate grown up Rory, only forgiving her after seeing what she went through in Gilead.

Ooh @ComDummings I'm just watching the baptism episode. I'd forgotten (or missed) Jackson lying re a vasectomy first time round!

Luke was bloody miserable. Lorelei should have just moved on. be also should have been kinder to her parents. She was upset she was privileged.

Rory was a teen. She is allowed to mess up. Lorelei set very confusing boundaries.

Lane’s story arch was dreadful.

Agree about Luke being miserable and Lanes story being pants.

They were just all so disappointing weren't they? Why do I like it?

I'm currently (about 1/4 way through) on season 5.

So Lane has a baby, Lorelai nearly marries Chris and Rory chooses Logan over Jess????

I often wonder about the eating habits too and don't understand why they are so slim.

Logan is such an over privileged wanker. He’s horrible to Marty and basically anyone he doesn’t think is important and he’s horrible behind the backs of those who he does view as important.

He’s similar to Lorelai in the sense he ‘rejects’ his parents world but actually goes on to grudgingly benefit from it.

Richard was a bastard too. We’re meant to believe he’s this wonderful grandfather but if you look at his other personal and professional actions bloody hell.

My advice to Rory would be try to make new friends at college. Her best friend is her frenemy from school. For someone who everyone loves in Stars Hollow, she always seems a bit lonely.

I think of Logan as a sort of American Boris Johnson - I HATE Logan! (And yes I'm aware BJ was previously an American citizen.) I especially hate that episode where Rory finds out he'd slept with all the bridesmaids and then he says all these nasty, misogynistic things about them. It makes me angry just thinking about it! LTB!

She is- she totally uses Luke to maintain her house for her and gives him nothing in return. Even when they are together she doesn’t allow him to have the last word on anything.

Absolutely, she seemed to think the whole world owed her and her daughter a favour because they were oh so kooky and oh so pretty

Did Lorelai ever pay Luke back the money she borrowed for the inn? It was some crazy amount of money. Plus her parents paid for both Rory's private school and Yale.

I suspect Style and Beauty would have comments but I'm not stylish or beautiful enough to come up with something witty to say
