Where to live in Gloucestershire?

Can anyone recommend a good place to live, where the Kingsholm area of Gloucester is easy to get to, and routes to London are quickly accessible?

Thank you.

Blimey, that is a tall ask. Close to M4 I would say up the M5 corridor, but hopefully that is a mix of work and pleasure, not a daily commute (which would kill you).

Do you mean London as in visiting family or commuting a couple of days a week?

Maybe somewhere west of the city like highnam so you're on the right side for kingsholm to commute to work, then it's about 2.5 hrs to London via road or 2 hrs from Gloucester train station .

Also depends what sort of thing you're looking for!

I'm Gloucestershire based. Other than kingsholm/london connection do you need anything else? Town/countryside schools?

Train service between Cheltenham and Paddington is regular and just over 2 hrs. If you're after driving then look at somewhere like Cirencester/Birdlip - A417 to M4 is about as direct a route as you'll find in county

There are quite a few areas depending on budget, modes of transport etc. Easier to stay on the same side of Glos as Kingsholm as that’s near the train station for London and A417 for Swindon/M4 for driving.
Longford
Longlevens
Escourt Road
All these are walkable
Churchdown
Brockworth
Innsworth
All these a short drive.
Mixture of all kinds of properties and price points and newer builds as well. Depending on budget and timescales.
