What are you "over?"

This year has been a bit of a crap year for everyone, but along the way many of us have learnt something about ourselves.

I read this recently and it just about sums up where I am at:

Overthinking
Overgiving
Overdoing

I'm over it.

So, going into 2021 what are you over and what changes are you making?

Am so over buying pointless crap. Have pared down my clothes to manageable levels and not buying any more for the foreseeable -ditto other stuff. Being able to browse in shops has broken the habit and so don’t see myself returning to that.

Mostly everything to be honest.
Social media, pointless rubbish. People in general. I think it has come as I get older to be fair.

Same here paranoid. Age/ COVID has made me finally realise. For too long I've been a mug wasting my time on people who do NOTHING for ME. I've narrowed my A list down to close family and great friends who kept each other's spirits up over this year and supported each other like true diamonds. I'm investing my time in these people from now on.

My first assertive act was telling people I'm not buying them Christmas gifts anymore. I'm sure it's gone down like a poo sandwich but I'm over it, I really am.

I got lumbered with Christmas lunch again but I'm over that too and have already said I'm not doing it again until other people pull their weight.

No gifts for certain people, not everyone of course.
