Help! Need a deliverable foodie gift for £20

I've got in a bit of a pickle with Christmas presents for some relatives and now need to find something ASAP which can be delivered in time. I reckon something food or drink related is easiest, but budget is £20. Any ideas for something slightly original? Ideally where delivery costs aren't crazy.

Go on Etsy or your local Facebook page. You can send sweets or brownies etc and when you search you can filter for those who offer free delivery too. I sent vegan sweets and the recipient was thrilled.

Do they have a local nice deli? I'd ring them up and ask if they can put a gift together, usually local delivery is free from that sort of place if it's close by. We have one on our high street that has been doing a roaring trade in hampers and gift boxes.

These are the most delicious brownies in the world ever!

Are they in the UK? Why dont you buy something yourself from a supermarket/deli/farmers market and post to them yourself? Nice biscuits, chutney, buscuits/crackers, jams, wine, steeped fruit in alcohol, nice chocs.

You will get far more value from doing that, than finding a company to send a few brownies/bespoke chocs for £20.

Aldi do a £20 hamper. Comes in a lovely box. Could get it delivered straight to their address.

Thanks all! Some great inspiration here. I'm off on a hunt Smile

You might find the Inverawe website interesting - lots of smoked fish and other savoury goodies that can be posted. E.g. 3 different smoked fish pates for £15 plus postage, or smoked salmon or trout for about the same ££.

I’ve used them more than once for Christmas presents.

Tastesmiths curry kits.

I've ordered some Tewkesbury Mustard after seeing it on a cooking program. Great gift for a foodie! It had taken them nearly two weeks to dispatch though so check if it will arrive in time as they are very busy.

Marks and Spencer do hampers

Marks & Spencer do chocolate for £10 or chocolate & wine for £15 plus delivery charge.

katy1213 · 10/12/2020 03:12

Little box of Paul A Young chocolates - much better than a boring box from M&S that they could pick up with their groceries if they wanted it.

riotlady · 10/12/2020 03:53

Biscuiteers are lovely and you can choose ones that fit through the letterbox

AdaColeman · 10/12/2020 08:43

A beautiful little box of Prestat chocolate truffles would be within your budget.
