Picture frames
Chainsaw
Whiskey
Toy shop
Brown paper
Rose water

Sounds a bit of an ill- advised combination, don't you think?

That's certainly quite a mix Grin

So you have children, you like emvironmental friendly products, you have a lot of relatives and you like natural skin care products. You probably have a garden. Not working class.

That is fairly accurate!

Although the rose water is for food, not skin, but I do like natural skincare products.

Well as long as the whisky is drunk after using the chainsaw and not prior to, then it’s a great list.

Or should it be.....use chainsaw, goes wrong, drinks whisky for the shock of the accident, then use toy medical kit and brown paper to fix wound, rose water to dab on your temples whilst waiting for the ambulance, and the picture frame to hold a photo montage photo f the day your life changed forever, then I think you’re all sorted Grin

Chainsaw?! I had a good day shopping :
2 large vases with candles
Curtains
Magnetic to do list
Small measuring cup
Gorilla making set
Placemats and coasters
Cooked chicken wings
6 bottles of wine (25% off in well known supermarket!)
Tub of twglets

Pretty obvious one trip to a homeward store and other a supermarket!

I thought rose water was used in cooking?

Why 'not working class'?

I don't particularly believe in class signifiers as there's far too much overlap and it usually involves people who call themselves middle class making negative assumptions about the interests and behaviours of people they perceive to be working class, but if anything, I'd take a chainsaw to be a working class signifier because working class would be 'does own DIY/gardening' vs middle class 'get a man (or woman) in to do it for you'.

ImNotMeImSomeoneElse · 09/12/2020 04:35

I don't think it's that ill-advised.

I think whisky would be a necessity if one owned a toy shop and had to deal with spoiled children on a regular basis...

Although you might not want to operate the chain see at the same time...

lemonsaretheonlyfruit · 09/12/2020 04:35

You are buying a toy shop? Hmm

joystir59 · 09/12/2020 04:37

A small bottle of TCP
An integrated washing machine (almost)

joystir59 · 09/12/2020 04:39

I'm working class and have rose water and kewra water in my cupboard along with truffle oil, mirin, fish sauce and dried foraged hedgehog mushrooms.
